SXT Board GT

Deck

The deck of the SXT Board GT is ultra-flexible thanks to its construction of 8-layer Hard Rock Maple. To further increase the ride comfort it is additionally concave shaped so that this optimally adapts to the feet. The overall length is 94 cm with a total weight of only 7 kg.

Axles

To ensure excellent driving characteristics, we use Caliber™ II axles in the front of the SXT Board GT, and a 7 inch MD drive axle specially designed for the SXT Board GT is used in the rear. In combination, these components simultaneously provide excellent handling characteristics with top performance even at top speeds which ensures a smooth and stable ride.

Wheels

The center of gravity of the SXT Board GT is only 110mm in conjunction with the 96mm wheels. Together with the 275mm wide deck, this allows for a very stable and safe standing position. All 4 rollers are when reaching the wear limit, very easy to replace and thus keep the cost of roller replacement at an absolute minimum. Can be mounted rollers with 83mm and also with 96mm diameter. The rear rollers have a steel core inside to avoid vibrations in driving.  The roller hardness is 80A SHRAA.

Motors

Both brushless hub motors on the SXT Board GT are rated at 350W each. In conjunction with the turbo mode, accelerate the e-longboard up to 42 km/h. Turbo mode is available for up to 30 seconds and can be used again after a cool down period, also 30 seconds.

Why do we use hub motors and not belt drives? Since when using eskateboards dirt, sand, dust, stones & water is whirled up and thrown directly against the motors, we avoid by the used fully encapsulated hub motor drives that foreign bodies or, for example, water penetrates into them and impair the engine performance or even leads to total failure, as well as high maintenance. Another advantage is that hub motors operate virtually noiselessly, while with belt drives a relatively high noise level is almost unavoidable due to their function.

Remote control

The remote control is a 2.4 GHZ wireless R2 control unit with integrated OLED display, which reliably maintains communication between the longboard and the handheld transmitter. With the remote control, in addition to acceleration and braking, the turbo mode which is available for 30 seconds is controlled. But be careful! There is then extreme driving power of +20% available here.

The OLED display provides information about the current driving mode whether Economy 19 km/h, Sport up to 38 km/h or Turbo up to 42 km/h. Also monitored is the charge status of the main battery of the longboard and also the charge status of the battery in the handheld transmitter. If the charge level of the board is running low, the remote control warns about this via vibration alarm. Other displayed values are speed, driven km, turbo mode availability as well as cruise control mode.

Power supply

Inside the SXT Board GT is a high-performance lithium battery installed the thanks to its sophisticated BMS (Battery Management System) even with fully charged battery full braking without the battery hereby carries damage. Each individual Samsung 30Q Lithium Ion cell, is safely protected from the occurring vibrations and shocks and thus allows a constant current of up to 30A with a total capacity of 6.0 Ah / 216 Wh at max. 42V output. The energy occurring during braking is fed back into the battery, insofar as this is not already fully charged.

Water and dust protection

The SXT Board GT is fully waterproof and dustproof (IP55). All individual components such as battery, electronic control are encapsulated and sealed with special materials, so there are no limits to the use even in the most adverse conditions.

Electronic high-voltage system

The advanced & modified control electronics of the GT Board allows due to the new architecture, an extremely constant acceleration as well as buttery smooth braking.
