Deck

The ultra-flexible curved deck of the new SXT Allterrain Offroad Board X2 is made of 8-ply hard rock maple with additional fiberglass layers. The deck thus fits perfectly to the feet and guarantees high riding comfort even on bad roads or long distances. The total length is 101 cm.

Axles

To ensure excellent driving characteristics, we use double kingpin trucks in the front and rear of the SXT Board X2. The turning circle here is only 2 meters and they allow for excellent carving characteristics with top performance even at high speeds.

Wheels

Because of the installed 6.5 inch Honeycomb rubber tires are off-road tracks, scree slopes and dirt tracks and trails from now on no problem. Potholes and paragraphs which with small rollers almost inevitably lead to a fall are with the wheels of the SXT Board X2 no problem and reason to worry more. The ground clearance is enormous due to the large tires and thus reliably prevents contact between the ground and deck.

The Honeycomb technology of the tires, has slightly less damping properties than a classic pneumatic tire but the advantages still outweigh - because flat feet due to punctures or overheating of the rubber belong here to the past.

Motors

The drive motors are 2 x 1200W strong high power and high torque brushless hub motors. Why do we use hub motors and not belt drives? In our opinion, the SXT Board X2 is mainly used in off-road applications and there even under the most adverse conditions. Here dirt, sand, dust, stones & water is whirled up and thrown directly against the motors. The more this can get into the engines or, for example, belts, it comes here to heavy wear up to total failure of the drivetrain. The installed hub motors are a completely sealed system in which no foreign objects or water can penetrate thus this is 100% maintenance-free and extremely durable. Furthermore, the brushless hub motors work virtually noiselessly while belt drive quite noisy.

Remote Control

The remote control is a 2.4 GHZ wireless R2 control unit with integrated OLED display, which reliably maintains communication between the longboard and the handheld transmitter. With the remote control, in addition to acceleration and braking, the turbo mode which is available for 30 seconds is controlled. But be careful! There is then extreme driving power of +20% available here.

The OLED display provides information about the current driving mode whether Economy 19 km/h or Sport up to 35 km/h. Also monitored is the charge state of the main battery of the longboard and also the charge state of the battery in the handheld transmitter. If the charge state of the board is running low, the remote control warns about this by vibration alarm. Other displayed values are speed, driven km, turbo mode availability as well as cruise control mode.

Power supply

The lithium battery installed in the SXT Board X2 consists inside of a 12S3P system equipped with Sanyo cells. The capacity of the 50.4 V high-voltage battery is 454 Wh. This is enough for a total driving distance of up to 30 km.

Water and dust protection

The SXT Board X2 is fully waterproof and dustproof (IP55). All individual components such as battery, electronic control are encapsulated and sealed with special materials, so that there are no limits to the use even in the most adverse conditions.

Electronic high-voltage system

Thanks to the 12S 50.4V high-voltage system used (battery, ESC and motors), the required amperage drops in all installed components, which leads to a much more efficient energy yield as well as greatly reduced stress on all components. Another advantage of the lower amperage is the lower temperature load on the entire system.

Somit has the new 12S system compared to the 10S systems mostly used on the market, extremely large advantages.
